Canadian Goose decoy is made of cast plaster and is hand-painted adding to its lifelike quality. It's in very good condition and beautiful (see pictures). This goose is perfectly suited as home décor in a den, or man cave or a gift to your favorite hunter or collector. Approximately 12"x7"x6"

Duck and goose decoys were intended to fool the real-life counterparts into settling into the water near where the decoy floats. Geese see the wooden decoy and assume the area is safe. Since the nineteenth century, decoys such as this one have been a tool used by hunters and sport to increase the number of birds they catch.

I'm no ornithologist so you might cry fowl for my goose identification—it may seem quackers. Check with your CPA for de-duck-tiability.
